Test equipment for degrading rubber by air heating at a maximum of 300 °C.
- This is a testing machine that deteriorates vulcanized rubber and thermoplastic rubber through air heating.
- Compared to gear-type aging testing machines, it minimizes the effects of additive migration between test specimens due to air convection.
- The test specimens are attached inside a test tube (test tube) with air inlet and outlet pipes, placed in a heating device pre-adjusted to the test temperature, and heated at the specified temperature for the specified time.
- After heating, tensile strength, elongation at break, tensile stress, hardness, etc., are measured, and the thermal aging characteristics are evaluated based on the changes from before heating.
- Up to four test specimens can be placed inside an independent test tube.
